Word Games: A Haiku Trio

1

Words are illusions.

The shields of our confused minds.

To reality.

2

Words are like a sword.

They protect or destroy us.

Depending on use..

3

Little or too much.

Words can cure or poison minds.

Water that saves or drowns.

Scribblings in the Sand: A Haiku Quintet

Meaning

Scribblings in the sand.
Lives lived will be forgotten.
Once they meant something..

Scribblings in the sand.
Words left by the un known hand
Now, they mean nothing!

Memory

Scribblings in the sand.
Memories are forgotten.
They just fade away.

Scribblings in the sand.
All the knowledge we once had.
Lost in time and space.

These Scribblings in the sand...

Scribblings in the sand.
Words found in the book of life.
Will too cease to be!

To All Mothers...

1
Mothers of all time,
Now, you made us who we are.
You've given us life.

2
Mothers without child.
You've given birth to new hope.
You've given us life.

3
Mothers, you're human.
You may fall and rise, but then,
You've given us life.

4
If it hadn't been you,
We would not be here. No one.
For that, we love you...

5
Divided we are.
We forget that we all had…
We all had mothers!

Vision Quest: A Quintet

1
My eyes wide open,

Struggle to see much yonder...

So weak they've become.

2
Tears I cried too

There's an invisible truth.

Only some can see.

3
No words or symbols.

No one has any privilege.

To witness the real.

4
Your eyes can hinder.

If you aren't that careful.

And believe your eyes.

5
Ny vision beyond.

Beyond sight. Beyond life. Yet, finite.

Both clear and not.

The Death of A Cruel Month: A Haiku Trio

A murder

'Twas a cruel month.

A cruel month called April.

Gone my vanity!

A Mourning…

I ask myself why?

Nobody answers. No one!

April - scarred my soul!

Morning

Have I lost my self?

Have you uncovered my mask?

Freed my true being?
