The Haiku Flow is where I express my thoughts and feeling using the Japanese form Haiku. In its most basic form, the haiku consists of three stanzas where the first and three stanzas usually contain five syllables with the second stanza containing seven syllables. Traditionally, the haiku has a seasonal theme - even if the haikus I write rarely follow this theme and can be said to be unconventional in this respect.
No peace, no solace,
Our monkey minds distract us,
Witnessing waking...
Melody of bees,
The buzzing honey makers,
Praise the coming Spring...
A coming darkness,
a candle waning, fading,
Thee wind is blowing.
You gave us our life,
Our food, our water,our home.
We stole and plundered...
Restless is my inner voice.
It is not the time to speak.
Spirit will guide soul.
Time flows through our roots,,
Fruits of trees ripen and die.
Is it there all is?
The mind wandered, lost,
In jungles of sensation,
Into the flames...
hate poisons the mind,
Ignorance impairs the judgment,
Desire slaves soul.
Carnival of life,
Masks, disguises, we all wear,...
Our distorted truths...
